October is Disability Employment Awareness Month
Gov. Dennis Daugaard has proclaimed October Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM) in South Dakota. Through DEAM, the state aims to raise awareness about disability employment issues and to celebrate the contributions of workers with disabilities. Also, there are 13 communities that will be hosting DEAM events in which include:
Volga
Watertown
Brookings
Sisseton
Madison
Aberdeen
Yankton
Sioux Falls
Rapid City
Pierre
Mitchell
Mobridge
Vermillion
